The future is sort of a myth if you think about it. It can’t exist until it happens, and when it does, it’s already the past. Even what you perceive as the “now” is a couple qadrillion milliseconds after it happens. Inner suburban lifestyle is great for those who like the feeling of community and smog. It’s only on the top of large buildings that people truly feel both literally and figuratively closer to God in my opinion. We build ziggurats to get closer to God and we build skyscrapers to get closer to our dreams.
